<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver program facilitating response on a host device side when a used function of an image forming device is changed. <P>SOLUTION: This driver program capable of making the host device performing a print request to the image forming device execute the print request using one function among functions capable of being performed by the image forming device makes the host device execute: a step for deciding whether use of each the function in the host device is valid or not, on the basis of key information including identification information of the function set in each the function, stored in the host device; and a step for executing processing for the print request when it is decided that the use of the function used in the print request is valid in the decision when performing the print request to the image forming device, and not performing the processing for the print request when it is decided that the use is invalid in the decision. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
