<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte fuel cell capable of restraining crossover of fuel. <P>SOLUTION: The solid electrolyte fuel cell, structured of a fuel electrode 2, an oxidant electrode 3, and a solid electrolyte film 4A pinched by the fuel electrode 2 and the oxidant electrode 3, is provided with a substance for catching fuel crossed over between the fuel electrode 2 and the oxidant electrode 3.
