PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To park a vehicle at high efficiency while restricting cost to the minimum. SOLUTION: This parking device is composed of a traveling passage 2 on which a vehicle is capable of traveling, and plural parking parts 3 provided in parking spaces on both sides of the traveling passage 2. The parking part 3 is composed of a pallet 11 provided with an air pad 13 to which air is supplied to inflate it for letting air jetted from plural jetting holes downward, and a movement mechanism 12 to advance/retreat the pallet 11 to/from the traveling passage 2. By thus supplying air to the air pad 13 as the vehicle is placed on the pallet 11, the pallet 11 is let to float, and it is pulled in toward the parking part 3 by the movement mechanism 12, thereby the vehicle is parked in the parking space.
