PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely transfer the data transmitted from the Internet, etc., to a destination existing in a LAN, etc., in accordance with the type of the data without intervention of a manager. SOLUTION: This gateway device for mutually connecting the Internet and a homenetwork is provided, as a configuration, with a database module 26 for a profile for storing the types of services to be offered by an information processor connected to the homenetwork side and destinations for utilizing the services, and an internal transfer control module 24 for discriminating a service type indicated by received data from the Internet side, selecting a transfer destination corresponding to the discriminated service type from destination information stored in the database module 26 for a profile and transferring the received data to the selected transfer destination.
