A connecting structure of a power cord for a dishwasher is provided to freely attach or detach the power cord from a base assembly to remove necessity of providing a separate base assembly according to various specifications. A connecting structure of a power cord(210) for a dishwasher includes a power code, a base(200) and a power code holder(220). The dishwasher includes a cabinet(101), a tub(110), a door(111), a sump(170), a washing pump(180), and a motor(190). The cabinet forms appearance of the dishwasher. The tub is protected by the cabinet and has a dish washing bath installed therein. The door is formed at a front surface of the tub to open and close the washing bath. The sump is formed at a center part of a lower surface of the tub to store washing water. The washing pump is connected to the sump to pump the washing water stored in the sump using a high pressure. The motor is attached to a rear surface of the washing pump to drive the washing pump. The power cord supplies power to the dishwasher, and is connected to the power cord holder. A hole is formed on the base to connect the power code holder.
