PURPOSE:To make the use of a synthetic resin molded article possible as well as to contrive accomplishment of lightweightedness of the titled cassette conveying case by a method wherein a dustproof effect is obtained by forming a groove at least on either of the contact surface of a flange part and a bottom plate. CONSTITUTION:On the lower surface of the flange part 16 of a cassette case main body 10, a protrusion 17 is formed on the whole circumference of the flange part 16, and also on the upper surface of a bottom plate 11, a groove 18 is formed on the part corresponding to the protrusion 17. When the bottom plate 11 is covered with the cassette case main body 10, the protrusion 17 is fitted to the groove 18, and the cassette case main body 10 is fixed to the bottom plate 11. At this point, as there is a large empty space 23 formed between the protrusion 17 and the groove 18, the so-called labyrinth seal structure is formed between the flange part 16 of the cassette case main body 10 and the bottom plate 11. As a result, the cost of the titled cassette conveyance case can be cut down by the use of a synthetic resin molded article, and the lightweightedness of the cassette case can also be achieved.
