ANTISEPTIC STERILIZER, AND COSMETIC, MEDICINE AND FOOD COMPOUNDED WITH THE ANTISEPTIC STERILIZER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antiseptic sterilizer together using a 1,2-alkanediol and octopirox and synergistically reinforcing the original anti-microbial forces of the 1,2-alkanediol and the octopirox against wide kinds of microbes, and to prepare a cosmetic, a medicine and a food each compounded with the antiseptic sterilizer. SOLUTION: The antiseptic sterilizer is characterized by containing the 1,2-alkanediol represented by the formula (1): R-CH(OH)-CH2-OH (1) (R is a 3 to 8C alkyl) and the octopirox, and the cosmetic, the medicine and the food are each compounded with the antiseptic sterilizer.
