摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly calculate two-dimensional composite moving speed by a simple mechanism. SOLUTION: An X-axis counter 48 and a Y-axis counter 50 execute up or down count of the X-axis rotary-encorder 32 and the Y-axis rotary-encorder 34 by moving direction signals 40a and 40b. The encorders 32 and 34 output pulse signals indicating the moving distance of a laser beam machining head. Difference calculation circuits 52 and 54 calculate the absolute valuesΔx andΔy by clock cycle according to a clock 40c. A look-up table 56 stores table data of composite moving speed vc for the combination ofΔx andΔy. Table 56 outputs the composite moving speed vc corresponding to the outputsΔx andΔy of circuits 52 and 54 in accordance with the clock 40c.
