PURPOSE:To provide a Japanese pinball game (pachinko) machine equipped with a variable display device capable of recognizing by visually distinguishing a fluctuating hit pattern from another pattern in a standby state. CONSTITUTION:When the standby state of each of specific pattern display parts 72-74 of the variable display device is set, the flickering of a pattern (standby pattern) relating to a hit line and a hit pattern is controlled by applying lighting/flickering control to drum lamps 101a-101c, 102a-102c and 103a-103c, while, the lighting of another pattern is controlled. In this way, it is possible to easily discriminate the standby pattern and the hit pattern, and also, to improve the interest of a game visually. |
