PURPOSE:To attain high convergence accuracy for an FIR digital filter and a high speed convergence by dividing a transmission code series into some groups by each power, discriminating from which group a digital filter output signal y(n) is sent based on its power and applying a CMA algorithm to the signal in the unit of the discriminated group. CONSTITUTION:This adaptive digital filter adopting the CMA algorithm is made up of a square device 2 squaring an output y(n) of an FIR filter 1 to obtain a signal power ¦y(n)<2>¦, a simple discrimination device 3 discriminating a power Ri of the group to which a received signal belongs based on the power of the code, a subtractor 4 subtracting the discrimination result Ri from the signal power ¦y(n)<2>¦ to obtain an error signal e(n), and a coefficient control section 5 controlling a coefficient string based on the error signal e(n). |
