According to the parent patent, a moulding composition is formed by an intimate mixture of (a) a product obtained by polymerising a solution, in styrene, of a rubber which is not more than slightly cross-linked and (b) 5-30 weight %, on the polystyrene in the total mixture, of a cross-linked or cross-linkable rubber which includes a gel. According to the present improvement, (b) is a block copolymer with a base of 1 or more diolefine blocks which include 1 or more monomers, and 1 or more styrene blocks; the proportion of diolefine blocks:styrene blocks is 85:15-15:85. The compositions have improved resilience and a more polished surface.
