Upper layer of bedding or cushion cover material is tucked singly or doubly to as much as the fastener width and the support tape for the fastener stitched to this. Then the lower layer of material is brought in below the tuck and tape and stitched to the second support tape here. This seam runs along side the free edge facing the fastener so that the fastener is covered on the left side and only exposed on the right hand side. The tuck in the upper layer should be thrown back to allow the second stitch (bottom layer) to be completed unhindered. |
