PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a database merging device, with which the quantity of resources to be used is suppressed, retrieval items can be related to each other and the database of another system can be freely relatively used just like a user's own database. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a present database 11 owned by the user himself/herself while setting a virtual record to an item to retrieve the other system database, a mapping file 13 for storing a virtual record group having a key for accessing the retrieval item of the other system database and an attribute setting relation information relating the virtual records and the items of the database owned by the user himself/herself to each other, and a mapping means 12 for executing retrieval by preparing a retrieval sentence while referring to the mapping file.
