PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine start acceleration device capable of stably discharging latent heat suitably from latent heat accumulating material under an overcooled condition. SOLUTION: A core creating device 60 consists of a core creating member 61, a thermo cylinder mechanism 62 and a heater 63. The core creating member 61 is provided with a flexible plate 61a, and a projection plate 61b1 opposing to the flexible plate 61a. The thermo cylinder mechanism 62 is constructed to push out a piston 62b by expansion of wax W by heat generated by the heater 63. When the heater 63 is turned on, the piston 62b is pushed out by heat generated by the heater 63, the flexible plate 61a is elastically bent and a moving part 61a1 and a projection plate 61b1 abut. Consequently, latent heat accumulating material is removed from a surface of the moving part 61a, and a fresh surface which has not been wetted by latent heat accumulating material is exposed to latent heat accumulating material and core is created in latent heat accumulation material under over cooled condition.
