PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a link type power transmission chain and a power transmission device capable of suppressing elongation of a peripheral length of the chain when the tension is applied to the chain, and easily changing an existing belt type power transmission chain to the link type one. SOLUTION: A rolling contact surface 14a of a pin 14 is formed of an involute curve and a rolling contact surface 15c of an interpiece 15 is formed of a flat plane. A straight part L is provided between a contact position A of the pin 14 with the interpiece 15 in a straight area of the chain and a starting point of an involute curve R.
