<p>PURPOSE:To make a pen-type mouse easy to handle and to make an effective use of a desk surface by reducing the contact area at the time of moving the mouse by providing a movable sphere, a sphere holding part, and a push button executing the selected elements at a body part. CONSTITUTION:A pen body part 1 of the pen-type mouse is equipped with a flat part 2 at the position of the index finger when the pen is held. A push button 3 executing the selected elements is on the flat part 2. At the tip of the pen, a movable sphere 4 in the pen axis direction and a sphere holding part 5. The sphere 4 is held by a sphere holding part 5 and freely rotated. When the pen-type mouse is held and slipped on the desk, the sphere 4 at the pen tip is rotated and a cursor is moved on the display screen. When the pen is pushed, the sphere holding part 5 and the sphere 4 are moved in the pen axis direction to select the elements on the display screen. When the push button 3 on the body 1 of the pen is depressed, the elements can be made executed.</p> |
