A tool support (1) is detachably fastened to a tool holder (14) by means of an open-ended clamping ring (16). The clamping ring (16) is guided in an annular groove (32) of the tool holder (14). To couple the tool support (10), the diameter of the clamping ring (16) is reduced by means of an actuating device acting on it tangentially. The radial movement of the clamping ring (16) is converted into an axial stroke of the tool support (10). The latter is thereby clamped in a positive-locking manner against the tool holder (14). In the process, the clamping ring (16) is supported at one side on the annular groove (32) of the one tool part (14) and bears with a clamping face against the other tool part (10) in a positive-locking manner. …<IMAGE>… |
