PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology effective in realizing a new pattern variation mode with impact in a game machine displaying a pattern with variation on a display screen. SOLUTION: In a pachinko machine which is one of the game machines, a left pattern display train 110 and a right pattern display train 150 stop variation to once form a ready-to-win pattern array '2, X, 2', and a middle pattern display train 130 stops variation to form a miss pattern array '2, 7, 2'. The pattern '7' of the middle pattern display train 130 then performs torsional variation. With this torsional variation, the solid (such as a solid like a mahjong tile) displaying the pattern '7' is twisted as shown by arrow marks so as to be twisted off, decomposed and displayed as two patterns '1' and '6', that is, the figure '7' is the sum of 1 and 6 (obtained by addition), and the pattern '7' is decomposed into the pattern '1' and the pattern '6' according to this principle. |
