The material contg. the Mo compounds is mixed with a S-compound and alkaline metal. The mixture is heated sufficiently to melt it, and long enough to form a reaction product of water-soluble alkaline metal thio-molybdate, and a residue non-soluble in water. The Mo is recovered from the reaction product of water-soluble alkaline metal thio-molybdate. |
