<p>PURPOSE:To enable the stable operation for a long period of an electrostatic precipitator and an incinerator by constituting a shielding plate provided to the gap part of the boundary region of both a discharge pole supporting insulator chamber and a dust collection chamber of mineral fiber having heat resistance and electrical insulating property. CONSTITUTION:A shielding plate 15 is provided to at least one part selected from both the gap part of a boundary region of a discharge pole supporting insulator chamber 1 and a dust collection chamber 6 and the gap part of the boundary region of a discharge pole hammering insulator chamber 14 and the dust collection chamber 6. This shielding plate 15 is mat-like, woollike, clothlike, boardlike or lamellate and made of mineral fiber having heat resistance and electrical insulating property and its bulk density is regulated to a range within 0.1-2.8g/cm<3>. As a result, the stable operation for a long period of the electrostatic precipitator and an incinerator is enabled.</p> |
