The invention concerns a top up limiter designed to equip a vehicle tank containing pressurised fluid such as LPG, connected to a supply conduit and a magnet valve controlling the stoppage of filling. The top up limiter comprises: a body connected to the tank, having a first conduit communicating with the tank, a supply conduit (12) and a magnet valve (2); a head (33) mounted on the body; a sealing membrane (34) interposed between the body and the head to close the first conduit by the action of a spring; control means for inputting the pressurised fluid from the body to the head, co-operating with the membrane for opening and closing the first conduit.
