FIELD: controlling final elements, primarily of farming machines and associated equipment. SUBSTANCE: device has pulse-width modulator with reference-voltage generator provided with input for connecting load level setting facility, switches unit, high-power final switch, and pulse-width modulator signal corrector unit. It also has saw-tooth voltage generator and switch-type voltage regulator. The latter has its feedback circuit incorporating current generator whose input is connected to output of high-power final switch. Pulse-width modulator signal corrector unit is built up of logical mode-of-operation corrector and logical short-circuit analyzer. EFFECT: improved efficiency of load control and its de-energizing upon occurrence of short circuit. 3 cl, 2 dwg
