PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology capable of reducing manufacturing costs of a metal mask.SOLUTION: A metal mask data output device 14 comprises: an opening data holding part 22; an acquisition part 28; and an output part 30. The opening data holding part 22 holds information regarding components and a plurality of opening shapes which is opening shapes of the respective mask openings to be provided in the metal mask for the components, and according to attributes regarding a printed circuit board on which the components should be mounted by associating them with each other. The acquisition part 28 acquires design data on a specified printed circuit board which is a printed circuit board specified by a user and presence/absence of mounting of minute chip components, etc. on the specified board from a board design information holding part 18. The output part 30 selects an opening shape of a mask opening to be provided in the metal mask for the components to be mounted on the specified printed circuit board according to the presence/absence of mounting of the minute chip components, etc. on the specified printed circuit board, and outputs the metal mask data based on the selected opening shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
