<p>An electrical network has a carrier-free, self-supporting grid system prefabricated in one piece of an electrically conductive material. The grid system defines a plurality of electrically conductive paths. A predetermined number of various electrical components are mounted on the grid system in predetermined locations, and predetermined ones of the defined conductive paths are severed. The self-supporting grid system may be constructed as a continuous tape and cut to the desired size; and the predetermined paths may be severed by stamping or cutting.</p> |
