Radiant ceiling panel for hot water heating - has rectangular tubes in contact with flanges of radiating plates

The panel has rectangular hot water tubes in contact with radiating surface plates. Each of the latter is formed from a single sheet bent and folded to give a bottom radiating surface (20), two inwardly sloping sides and upper flanges (22) projecting from the sides and in close contact with the underside of the hot water tube (10). They are kept in place by means of a stirrup (26) which is an inverted U fitting over the whole length of the tube (10) with sides (30) which project below the bottom of the tube and have slots (28) into which the flanges (22) of the radiating strips slip. A good thermal contact is thus achieved with a very simple construction which is quick and cheap to carry out.
