PURPOSE:To avoid any ineffective use of brakes and certainly prevent speed from excessive increase by moving braking force regulation to the increasing side when detected speed exceeds the first speed and moving braking force regulation further to the increasing side by a control means when detected speed exceeds the second speed which is in excess of the first speed. CONSTITUTION:Diviation between a detection speed V and a target speed V is found (S31) when decelerating and output of engine E is regulated as reducing the throttle opening (S32). Meanwhile, a throttle opening S is gradually taken in (S33) and compared with a specified opening S1 (S34). The detection speed V is then successively compared with standard speeds V3, V2, V1, (S37, 38, 39) and when it is more than minimum standard speed V1, 1 is set to a brake counter (S41). When it is more than the intermediate standard speed V2, 2 is set to the brake counter (S42) and decelerated, while comparison is redone (S44) after, for example, four seconds (S43) by using a timer, 3 is set to the brake counter (S45) and the brake is kept in the third stage. |
