PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen device for a veranda for protecting privacy of residents of mutual next rooms, by preventing the next room residents from seeing through a next veranda space and a dwelling space over the veranda. SOLUTION: This screen device for the veranda has a surface substantially orthogonal to a partition wall with a next room veranda space on the veranda of a multiple dwelling house, and is formed by installing a screen panel having the height and a width for intercepting a line of sight over the veranda from the next room residents. The screen panel is composed of a vertical frame extending in the vertical direction to the veranda space, a horizontal frame extending in the lateral direction, and a panel body installed in a part surrounded by these frames, and is installed so as to straddle the veranda between two rooms with the partition wall as the center.
