FIELD: manufacture of building materials; heat-insulating materials in particular. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes preparation of mixture on base of wooden filler, hydrolysis lignin and aqueous solution of sodium silicate followed by molding and heat treatment. For preparation of mixture, 1 part by weight of moist particles of wooden filler is mixed with 0.2-0.25 parts by weight of sodium silicate powder and then is mixed with hydrolysis lignin at ratio of 1:1 by mass; sizes of particles being mixed are 1-15 mm. Hydrolysis lignin powder in the amount of 4-5 mass-% is additionally introduced in aqueous solution of sodium silicate at density of 1.38-1.40 g/cm3 and is mixed, after which butadiene-styrene latex in the amount of 2-4 mass-% by dry residue and sodium fluosilicate in the amount of 0.1-0.5 % of total mass of raw mixture are added and both mixtures are stirred. ^ EFFECT: improved quality of articles.
