<p>PURPOSE: A method of collecting and reproducing PET(polyethylene terephthalate) from used PET bottle is provided to get pure PET with low cost and a very little time. CONSTITUTION: The method of collecting and recycling PET form PET bottles comprises the following steps: (i) collecting the PET bottles and sorting with colors; (ii) getting powdered PET bottle by pulverizing the collected PET bottles with different ingredients of cap, cap retainer, labels and a low part of the bottle; (iii) making powdered PET by putting the powdered PET bottle in water to separate the ingredients of cap, cap retainer, labels and a low part of the bottle having different specific gravity from; (iv) heating the separated powdered PET in a solvent having a high boiling point with stirring to remove ingredients of labels and adhesives for the labels from the powdered PET; and then (v) adding N-hexane as a low boiling point of solvent to the powdered PET with stirring to remove remaining solvent.</p> |
