PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium-ion battery sheath material having excellent scratch resistance and water resistance, in addition to sufficient moldability and electrolyte resistance.SOLUTION: A lithium-ion battery sheath material 1 includes, from outside: a substrate protection layer 18, a third adhesive layer 17, a substrate layer 11, a first adhesion layer 12, a metal foil layer 13, an anticorrosive treatment layer 14, a second adhesive layer 15, and a sealant layer 16 laminated in this order. The substrate protection layer 18 includes: at least one type of polysaccharide (A) selected from a group including a water-soluble polysaccharide, a water dispersible polysaccharide, and a hydrophilic polysaccharide (excluding, however, a water-soluble polysaccharide and a water dispersible polysaccharide) and additive (B). Alternatively, a lithium-ion battery sheath material 2 includes a substrate protection layer 19 which integrates the third adhesion layer 17 and the substrate protection layer 18 of the lithium-ion battery sheath material 1 into one layer. |
