Controller for direct injection engine with vorticity control valve in air induction connector section

The controller has a vorticity control valve (31) designed so that its opening is controllable according to the operating conditions and the combustion state of the direct injection engine (1). Detectors (3,16,18,20,33) determine the engine operating conditions and combustion state, and a device controls the opening of the vorticity control valve accordingly.
