The invention provides an improved control device for an intravenous dripping system based on the gravity infusion principle. The device has an air-bag which connects to a ventilating needle via a catheter with the needle inserted into a drug bottle. When the drug bottle is about to be empty, the air-bag has already been emptied so that no air goes into the drug bottle, thereby preventing the drug in the drug bottle from dripping and preventing air entrance into the needle. Furthermore, the air bag can be filled with fresh air so that contaminated air can be avoided to get into the drug bottle. |
