PURPOSE:To facilitate slitting work by moving a chucking part to be stopped in a desired chucking reference position being based on the reference side dimension for slitter positioning and the moving amount of the chucking part. CONSTITUTION:A control unit, being based on the reference side dimension for positioning trimming slitter blades 31, 32 and slitting slitter blades 33, 34 and on the moving amount position of a rotary chucking head 110 in core chucking devices 100, 200, calculates a moving amount to a desired chucking reference position. And by driving a motor, the rotary chucking head 110 is moved to the desired chucking reference position. Accordingly, in the case of a winder, even when a belt-shaped material (base paper) 2 to be slitted is changed in its width, a rewinding core 4A is permitted to easily perform its automatic positioning, facilitating slitting work while enabling misslitting to be suppressed to a minimum limit. |
