SOHO CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD OVER INTERNET

PURPOSE: A SOHO(Small Office and Home Office) control system and method is provided to control various sensors and actuators as well as home electronics, connect personal computers, web phones and AV systems to a LAN in order to control all the SOHO electronics with one remote controller. CONSTITUTION: A SOHO control system comprises an application program connection module(21) and a virtual layer module(10). The application program connection module(21) transmits the data received from the application program to a control network(22) and a data network(23). The virtual layer module(10) connected to the application program connection module(21) communicates with the control network(22) and the data network(23), performs a connection function among the devices connected to the network, and monitors the devices connected to the network. The virtual layer module(10) includes a data processor(11), a data connection module(12), a data mapping module(13) and an infra network communication module(14).
