METHOD FOR CONTINUOUS PRODUCTION OF DIARYLAMINE AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the continuous production of a diarylamine from an arylamine in liquid phase under pressure using a solid acid catalyst with a simple procedure in high conversion to the objective reaction product compared with conventional methods. SOLUTION: A diarylamine is continuously produced without heating a reactor from exterior heat source by supplying an arylamine heated to the reaction temperature from the top of a heat-insulated fixed bed reactor packed with a solid acid catalyst, carrying out the reaction in liquid phase under pressure and discharging the reaction product from the bottom of the reactor.
