Polyester resin is produced by (a) pre-crystallizing and drying prepolymer polyester resin limiting viscosity 0.500-0.70dl/g of which the main unit of more than 65wt% is made out of ethylene terephthalate. (b) By solid state of polymerization above, prepolymer the polyester resin to satisfy formula(1)-(6) all at once in the inactive gas under the depression or high vacuum state, producing polyester resin of limiting viscosity is 0.701-0.900dl/g of the last polymer. In formula, Tm is differential thermal analyzer of melting temperature, T1 is initial solid state polymerization temperature, T2 is middle solid state polymerization temperature, T3 is last solid state polymerization temperature and T1 is initial solid state polymerization time, T2 is middle solid state polymerization time, T3 is the last solid state polymerization time and [IV0 is initial prepolymer of limiting viscosity(dl/g), [IV is last polymer of limiting viscosity(dl/g).
