PURPOSE:To obtain the filter of a dry system by selectively forming conductive and nonconductive patterns on a transparent insulating substrate and subjecting only the nonconductive patterns to corona electrostatic charge, then developing and printing the electrostatically charged patterns by using color toners. CONSTITUTION:A metallic thin film 2 consisting of a metal A is formed on the transparent insulating substrate 1 and the metallic A thin film 2 of the parts of, for example, red (R) positions of the color arrangement to be produced is removed. The transparent insulating substrate 1 with the resulted metallic patterns is subjected to the corona electrostatic charge by grounding the metallic patterns. The R toners 3 electrostatically charged to an opposite polarity are then distributed on the transparent insulating substrate 1 and is stuck and printed only to the parts subjected to the corona electrostatic charge. Further, a metallic B thin film 4 is formed and an electrical conductivity is imparted thereto on the R toners 3. The metallic A thin film 2 of the parts of green (G) and the metallic B thin film 4 are removed and the metallic patterns are again subjected to the corona electrostatic charge. The developing and printing with the G toners 5 are similarly executed. The developing and printing of the parts which are blue (B) are similarly executed with the B toners 6. The metallic B thin films remaining on the R toners 3 and the G toners 5 are removed. |
