PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material flapping restraining device capable of restraining flapping of a metal plate sheet press-worked at a high speed.SOLUTION: A flapping restraining device 3 of the present invention is provided in a press-work line having a press for pressing a belt-like steel plate sheet 10. The flapping restraining device 3 comprises a lower side guide rail 32 and a rocking guide 35. The lower side guide rail 32 forms flow passages F1 and F2 of the steel plate sheet 10. The rocking guide 35 is rockably provided by a cantilever support in the middle of the flow passages F1 and F2, and comprises a curved surface part 38 for coming in contact with the steel plate sheet 10. The rocking guide 35 rocks to the upper side when receiving energization force to the upper side of acting on the steel plate sheet 10 via the curved surface part 38, and rocks to the lower side by dead weight when the steel plate sheet 10 separates from the curved surface part 38. Thus, flapping of the steel plate sheet 10 can be restrained up to a proper range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
