<p>The process described in Parent Patent is improved by carrying out the H2O2 oxidn. in presence of CuSO4 and Fe2 (SO4)3. The Fe3+ may be formed in situ by oxidn. of Fe2+ with H2O2. The Cu (II) and Fe (III) may be recovered by pptn. with alkali or alkaline earth carbonates from the reaction soln. from which cyanogen has been removed. Alternatively, the catalyst-contg. aq. soln. may be re-concentrated by distn. after removal of the cyanogen.</p> |
