PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method to improve coating properties on a substrate and moldability of film and so on by obtaining a polyimide precursor solution which is homogeneous and has high concentration and low viscosity. SOLUTION: The polyimide precursor solution contains a compound I represented by the general formula (1) and a compound II represented by the general formula (2), and a solvent, wherein A, B represent tetravalent organic acids, X, which may be the same or different, represents a bivalent organic acid, and n, representing a number of repetition, is an integer of 2 or more.
