PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell device capable of connecting a number of fuel cells formed cylindrically in parallel by simple constitution and a manufacturing method of the fuel cells preferably employed for the device. SOLUTION: Ends of cylindrically fuel cells 7a and 7b provided with a first electrode 4, a solid electrolytic film 5, and a second electrode 6 are attached to a through hole part 1 of a support plate 2. The through hole 1 is provided with a longer diameter part 1a and a shorter diameter part 1b. The fuel cells 7a and 7b are exposed so that the electrodes 6 and 4 are connected to a lead wire 3a on a longer diameter 1a side and a lead wire 3b on a shorter diameter part 1b. The fuel cell 7a is coated by vertically immersing the bottomed cylindrical electrode 4 in a coating solution of solid electrolytic film material and exposing a releasing end side of the electrode 4 from the solution, and the solid electrolytic film 5 is formed by burning this. Next, the electrode 4 is vertically immersed in the coating solution of a second electrode material, a top part of the solid electrolytic film 5 is exposed from the solution and coated, and the electrode 6 is formed by burning this. |
