The coded circuit board has a projection (or projections) along its contact edge to engage in a suitable recess in the terminal connector and thereby prevent the wrong circuit board from being connected to the connector block. The circuit board has flat contact pads along one edge projection (11). The terminal block (7) has a recess (13) at a point along its length corresponding to this projection. The circuit board can only be connected to the terminal block if the projection can slide into the recess - i.e. if the projection and recess coincide.
