The transformer has a body (1) with a functional part (3) and another functional part (2). Each part (2, 3) has outer electrodes (6, 7, 9, 10), which are arranged at a surface of the body. The part (3) has inner electrodes (4, 5), which are arranged in the body, where the inner electrodes are attached at the outer electrodes (6, 7) of the parts. A minimum distance between the outer electrode (9) of the part (3) and the outer electrode (6, 7) of the part (2) is selectively larger than a distance between the outer electrode (9) of the part (3) and the inner electrode (4, 5) of the part (2).
