<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an oxide resistor having both large heat capacity per unit volume and sufficient surge resistivity by a method wherein at least a kind of tungsten bronze indicated by MxWO3 or molybdenum blonze indicated by MxMoO3 is contained in the oxide resistor. CONSTITUTION:Tungsten powder, sodium tungstate powder, tungsten and oxide powder are mixed at the ratio of 6:5:2, a binder is added, a slurry is formed, and a sintered body is formed by heating the slurry at 600 to 1200 deg.C in an inert atmosphere. Electrodes are formed on both edge faces, and a resistor is formed. A resistor block is formed by laminating and pressure welding in series the prescribed sheets of the resistor in proportion to the intensity of abnormal voltage to be absorbed, and this resistor block is used by connecting in parallel with a breaking contact point. As a result, an oxide resistor, having both large heat capacity per unit volume and sufficient surge resistivity, can be obtained.</p> |
