Solar energy absorbing roof tiles - having transparent surface with heat transfer element and base connected by flexible coupling

Roof tile is used to form solar energy collectors. Each tile is in itself a small solar energy collector and has (a) an upper surface permeable to light and heat; (b) a collector unit which will jointly absorb solar radiation and air heat as heat or electrical energy or both combined; (c) a means of conveying the energy away by flexible connections; (d) a unit constructed upper and lower shells; (e) thermal insulation. The above items are combined to form a single unit. Such tiles can then perform the normal duties of a roof tile as well as the solar energy absorbing role. Provides a system which can be combined in normal architecture, applicable to both new and existing constructions. It permits all existing features to be retained.
