<p>The string tensioning peg (1) is intended for a string instrument, particularly a guitar. It comprises a cross-bore (6) at right angles to the peg axis, through which the end (8) of the string (7) is passed. Another bore (5) is treated at an angle to the peg axis, via which the string is inserted before being placed in the cross-bore. The two bores are pref. arranged side by side in a common plane. The outer surface of the peg may have an annular recess between the two bores. The cross-bore may connected with a coaxial bore extending to one end of the peg.</p> |
