PURPOSE:To obtain the molded article of synthetic resin having excellent mirror surface property with no dulling, etc., by a method wherein a film of inorganic compound is formed on a molding surface of mold with method of vacuum deposition, etc., and hardened or cured by injecting synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:The film of inorganic compound such as MgF2, SiO2, MoS2, SiO, etc., is formed on the molding surface of a mold by vacuum deposition method, ion plating method or spattering method. When molding is carried out by injecting synthetic resin into the mold, the mirror surface property possessed by this mold is transferred to the molded article with no damage at all, being suitable in the case of molded anticle having important mirror surface property like optical parts. For the thickness of film, 500-3,000Angstrom is suitable. |
