<p>PURPOSE: To connect between small bore pipes with different qualities and diameters buried under the ground, easily and at low cost. CONSTITUTION: When small bore pipes 1 and 2 with different qualities and diameters buried under the ground are connected by a propulsion method, the distance L0 between the small bore pipes 1 and 2 is regulated by using a regulation pipe 2a at first, then a coupling main body 5 is placed between the small bore pipes 1 and 2, and one side small bore pipe 1 and the coupling main body 5 are connected by moving the coupling main body 5 to the small bore pipe 1 side. Then, after a short pipe 7 is inserted to a clearance 12 between the coupling main body 5 and the regulation pipe 2a by moving the coupling main body 5, a socket 6 fitted beforehand to the straight pipe form small diameter part 5e of the coupling mein body 5 is moved to the other side small bore pipe 2 side, so as to connect between the small bore pipes 1 and 2. Since the small bore pipes 1 and 2 can be connected easily in a short time, and no expensive joint is used, the construction cost is reduced, and the work is ecconomical.</p> |
