<p>The polypeptides (I) are L-prolyo-, di-L-prolyl-, glycyl-, and diglycyl-insulins, with the prolyl and glycyl groups at the N-terminal posns. of the insulin molecule. (I) are long-acting insulins useful in the treatment of diabetes-induced hyperglyceamia. Complexes (II) are (I) are protamine, histone, globin, Zn, Zn protamaine, Zn histone, and Zn globin are longer-acting forms of (I), and are included as the pref. form of (I) for parenteral admin.
