发明名称 PRODUCTION OF CASTING MATERIAL
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To restrain the evaporation and dissipation of Mg in the returned FCD scrap and to produce the FCD casting at low cost, by charging cold returned FCD scrap in a high frequency furnace after weighing the prescribed weight and conducting intensively the electric power to melt rapidly. CONSTITUTION:In the outer circumference of the high frequency furnace 13 composing of refractory 12 having thermal shock resistance, water cooling coil 11 is arranged and cooling water 15 is flowed toward the arrow mark direction. In this high frequency furnace 13, the coil 14 returned FCD scrap is charged by the prescribed weight beforehand weighed and the high frequency power (about 22-30kW/kg) is intensively conducted to the high frequency furnace 13 for a short time (about 2-3min), to melt so as to restrain the evaporation and dissipation of remaining Mg in the returned FCD scrap 14. Further, the produced molten metal is poured into the mold as soon as possible. In this way, the FCD casting is produced without necessity of addition of new Mg, and so the material cost for melting raw material is reduced.</p>
